You can have beautifully designed logo, stunning materials and advertising forms, but if you do not take care of the coherence of your image on social media, the person who is looking for information about your company will have a feeling that something has “gone”, and that does not build trust, only raises questions. So, to help potential and loyal customers get value from your content, take care of consistent branding in social media. (more…)
Do you know that business cards are still used today? Maybe not necessarily as it was until recently, because LinkedIn and Facebook have taken over a significant part of the functions of the former business card. However, working with clients who build their personal brands and with those who build a business based on relationships, I learned that a properly made business card can still be a very effective tool for building your network of contacts and business development. (more…)
It’s a very good idea! Regardless of whether you run a business or are a specialist in your industry, your own website is a good idea for several reasons.
It gives more credibility for you and your business. If you are on the internet, you are more “real” than if you were not there, so mark your place in this space.
This is the space that you control. Unlike profiles on social media, you decide how your page looks, what content it has, what you promote on it. Of course, you still have to obey international and local regulations and you set the website on someone else’s server (hosting), but the level of freedom you have on your site is incomparably greater than for example on facebook or LinkedIn.
You create another point of contact for your potential customers and recipients. It can be your hub, a place where you collect all your activities, a place where anyone wants to know what’s going on with you, it comes to the site and knows.
You will start building your media. If on your site you start to give valuable content and take care of their promotion and positioning, you start to build your position as an influencer.
PR official source. Thanks to your website, you can publish official statements, share media materials, it can be a point on the Internet in which you communicate and verify the published information.
What do you need to create a good website?
Start with an idea. Why do you want to create your website? What is her purpose? What will it be on her? What function will your site perform? What effect do you expect? Answering these questions, select 1 main function that your site should fulfill. One. You can add new functionalities later, but each page should have one main goal. What could be such a goal?
Information (about you and the company, offer, information about the industry, events, news)
Building an expert’s position (by creating content, recommendations)
Building a list of contacts (obtaining leads, promoting free content)
Sales (product, services, course)
Well then? Which function is the most important for you today?
The content is king! So what do you show on your website? At the beginning you can use stock photos but the sooner you start using the photo session created especially for you, the better. Let me know if you need great photoshoot. The next element is the content for your website. Write down on the piece of paper what information you want to include on your website (start with a one-page simple page), and then prepare the content for each of the information. A good idea is to work with a professional copyrighter. You can use the services such as fiverr, or contact us. Me and my team and I will help you with the preparation of your content.
Sketch it on paper. It is a very good idea to first take a piece of paper and draw what should be where and how much space should take. The art of creating effective websites is constantly gaining experience. Trying, testing and correcting mistakes, so do not be surprised if your homepage at the beginning does not work or look the way you imagine. This guide shows you how to do it yourself, but you will avoid many mistakes and save a lot of time if you delegate this task to us;)
Pick a name (domain). If you already have your business name, the most ideal would be to grab (yourBusinessName).com domain for yourself. But “.com” domains are the most popular so there is a great chance that your name is already taken. You can use any domain (and hosting) provider. Recently I used Ionos (previously 1and1) and I’m so far happy with speed and reliability of their service. If you do not have a name yet, it’s worth having an article about “How to create great brand name?“.
Pick your hosting company. I intentionally do not suggest you the suggested hosting company here, because I think that the first page will be much faster and easier to build using the help of websites that offer hosting themselves. But if you want to set up your website yourself using the system, for example WordPress, then you will need hosting or buying a service on wordpress.com.
Pick your CMS. On the Internet you will find a lot of mechanisms for building websites. I know and use 3 platforms. When building websites for our clients, we use the WordPress platform, each time installed on the client’s server. If I want to make a quick mockup or set a website quickly, I use the Weebly platform. And when building landing pages I use Landingi.com. Do some market research yourself if you want to compare specific services, I will focus on those that I know and I use ok?
How to create your own website on Weebly?
If you have never created your own website, than I think it’s the easiest platform to start with. So I’ll guide you through the most basic website creation process ok? Here we go!

Now let’s pick the first theme. It’s clean and nice looking (you can change your theme later)
And now it’s just like editing your favourite docx document! You just click and edit all texts and pictures on this site. You can (and should) edit all texts and pictures to replace them with your own.
You can (and should) replace the main background image.
After you finish editing all texts and pictures on your site hit that “Publish” button, where you can choose to buy your new domain, or use subdomain .weebly.com. You can start with this one, and then update settings with your own domain later.

How to create a beautiful business logo? (typeface, colours, templates)
What do you need to know first?
You can be very successful with a weak name. You can be very successful with a hopeless logo. Only why add extra workload to the already demanding business game? If you can help yourself and you can make it easier by making a good name and logo of your allies, than why not? There are a few types of logo’s that can be used as a company or personal brand. Emblem Logo: You can have a sign that (yet) does not mean anything, but it has a hidden or explicit symbolism that will reflect the spirit of your company. Such logotypes need the most time to become recognizable and start to “give” their strength further. You can also use well-known symbols, but here you must ensure that they are used in a clever, original way, that your logo is original, unique. Examples: Apple, Shell, Nike, Mercedes,Mascot Logo: Depending on the character of the company and the history behind it, you can use mascots, symbols and figures. It can be a historical figure, a silhouette of founders or a mascot invented especially for your company. In this way, you’ll give the company a much easier and archetypal character. Examples: Twitter, Lacoste, RedBull, KFCLettermark Logo: Sometimes the best idea is to choose, or create a suitable font, which will be consistent with the nature of your company. A properly selected font may turn out to be key and in this way, every text written in this way will be associated with your company. Examples: Google, Coca-Cola, Facebook Combination Logo: The most frequently recommended by me model is the combined model. Showing the character of the company by combining a suitably strong symbol with a well-chosen font is, in my opinion, the best solution. Thanks to this you can use the “full” version of the Logo along with the description, or use only the icon. Examples: Amazon, Microsoft, AirBnB, Lamborghini
How to create a great business logo?
The free way: To make your logo fit your business, think about it, put time and attention to who your target group is, what’s important to you, what emotions you want to evoke. My goal is not to present you the theory and rules of creating logos, but to give you tools that you can use right now. That’s why I will present you the 3 best ways that will help you create the logo yourself, ok?
Signature or handwritten inscription. Yes! One of the methods is to use a tablet or even a marker on a white sheet and create several versions of the inscription, the parka, and then transfer it to the digital form. Especially useful if you are building your personal brand. This followed, for example, Gary Vaynerchuck, Celine Dion, and corporate brands like Ray-Ban, Virgin.
Hatchful. A simple, fast and intuitive logo generator. It will guide you through a series of questions, and then you can freely modify your chosen logo proposal. Best of all – after registration, you can download files that will allow you not only to publish materials with your logo on social media but also to print a business card, rollup or large format projects. (Hatchful)
Canva. I often use canva for quick projects, creating content for social media, but I do not know if you know that canva also helps to design a logo? A good idea is to become familiar with this tool. That’s why I gave Canva at the top of the list. In my opinion, the choice is limited and the functionality is based on the modification of already created patterns, but this is one of the possible starting points. (Canva)
The cheap way:
TailorBrands. Here, you will be carried out “by the hand” asking questions about the industry, the style you like and on that basis will propose you several projects of your logotype. Designing itself is free, but to download your logo, you need to register and pay a fee, you pay from £ 6.99 for a one-off download. (TailorBrands)
LogoMakr. Although you can design your logo and download files in low resolution for free, you need to pay £ 12 to access files in higher resolution and curves. This app requires a bit more sense, but it allows you to search in a very rich database of symbols and fonts. (LogoMakr)
Fiverr. You can use a website that gathers artists from around the world and start working on your mark for just a few pounds. Pay attention to the work already done and the person’s references, so that you do not have unnecessary disappointments afterwards. (Fiverr)
The right way: From my observations, the best logotypes are created in cooperation with professional designers. Mostly the logo that impresses you or perfectly matches the company has been carefully prepared by the branding studio. A professional company will guide you through the full process of discovering the real image of your company, and then will present a sign that will be a perfect extension of your vision. Such a symbol will strengthen your company and save your effort, energy that you put into the company. If you are interested in creating your logotype with us, enter here.
I really like the quote from the co-founder of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, who said: “Make every detail perfect and limit the number of details to perfect.” Therefore, in this article I will not go into the details of the typo brand-book, I will tell you what you need to make your business have a strong, consistent brand, ok? Get Ready!
Every year we ask ourselves this question: What will be the next big thing? How can I predict the future and be ahead of the pack? Well, it’s always just a prediction, but there are some trends that you can spot if you look really closely. Below you’ll find ones that I think are worth watching in 2019.
